Mount Farm Lake

Mount Farm Lake is stocked mainly with; carp (mirror, common, crucian), eel, roach, rudd, perch, pike, tench (both green and golden), bream and probably a few more. The lake varies in depth from 18 inches to 7 foot, in certain places, but averages 4 foot. The lake bed is mainly weed , with the odd feature to be found. Along with the underwater features there is a large island, where many fish have been caught from in the past.

On Mount Farm Lake pegs 1 to 16 & 51 to 57 are open all year around, with the close season applying on all other pegs. The majority of pegs are of a reasonable size and the size of your bivvie will influence whether you can fit it along side your rods, if that is not possible you are allowed to place your bivvie on the grass(this MUST be on the LAKE SIDE ONLY).

At Mount Farm Lake there is two 'pits', know as the 'little' and 'big' pit. The 'big pit' is the main fishing lake, where the majority of carp fishing is exercised although other species can be caught there and the 'little pit' which is proficiently fished by the match angler as it holds vast amounts of small rudd, roach, perch with some large carp and pike.
