Match Fixtures

The tables below show all the dates for both summer and winter league matches' for the season 09/10. The pegs for the summer league matches' will be drawn at 7:00am, fishing will commence at 8:00am and cease at 1:00pm. Summer evening match pegs will be drawn at 5:45pm (in the Beacon Pub car park), fishing will commence at 6:15pm and cease at 9:15pm. The winter match pegs will be drawn at 8:00am with fishing commencing at 9:00am until 2:00pm.

Match Regulations

To enter any of the above matches you will have to contribute 50p per match (points only). Entry to pools is £4.50p.

 

Points allocation - The winner, 1st place, of each club points match will be awarded 12 points, 11 points for 2nd place and 10 points for 3rd place etc. Each competitor will be awarded an extra 1point for every completed 8oz, to a maximum of 10lb.

Championship - Summer and Winter; The summer championship will be won by the member who has the highest aggregate of points from all the summer points matches. The winter championship will be won by the member who has the highest aggregate of points from all the winter points matches.

First and last Cup - The winner shall be the individual who has the largest weight combined from both matches. The condition for this cup is that both matches are fished in full, from start to finish.

Evening Cup - The winner shall be the person having the highest aggregate of points at the end of the evening series.

Any trophy won must be collected at the A.G.M. and returned by 1st March, of the following year.
