Whats new for the coming season!

We are currently in the process of developing the small pit as a match / pleasure fishery. This will be open to members and guests only, day tickets will not be available as reported in recent press.

15 of these will be from platforms provided by the EA. There is still a lot of work to be done so anyone with any time to spare please get in touch.

We have already stocked approx 10,000 roach and have around 1000 bream on order, future stockings will take place as funds allow.

It is hoped that by doing this we will be able to provide a section of the lake that is more productive for match and pleasure anglers and will encourage more juniors to join the club.

By creating a seperate section for matches away from the main lake it will create more availability for the specimen anglers who previously had to plan their sessions around the match fixtures on the main lake. We have also negotiated an increase in the maximum length of stay to 72 hours which will benefit the specimen anglers wanting to put in 3 day sessions.

To gain 6 extra pegs on the small pit we have agreed to permanently close pegs 1-5 and pegs 35&36.

As a result of this all the pegs will be re-numbered soon. The new peg layout is available here.

Once re-numbered, Pegs 1-16 and pegs 29-51 will be open all year round - closed season applies on all other pegs.
